Description
Its highest point is 140 metres above sea level and there is a splendid view of the rolling hills typical of our region. In its north-western part, the land borders the Way of Fatima, which is a section of the Way of Compostela that goes to Galicia, giving our terroir its name. On their long journey, pilgrims from several countries pass along the Way bordering our olive grove. A soil rich in nutrients sounds good, but it is tricky: the canopy may overgrow. This impacts each olive tree health and producivity. They need special care along the year.
